About the Artist

Although I have pursued many interests, my love and intimacy with the arts has carried me through life.

During the past few years, I have devoted myself to the exploration of painting techniques on a full-time basis. I work with pastels, oils and watercolors and experiment with different styles, with my latest endeavors centering in the abstract vein. I am a member of several artist alliances in the Long Island area and my work has been shown in East Hampton, Shelter Island, and privately.

I am fortunate to have been able to develop an educational program entitled 'History Through the Fine Arts', and have taught my curiculum at all educational levels. I am continually inspired by the discovery of new artists and the interests of others who are open to learning about the arts. Hopefully, the lives of my students have been enriched by my passion for the visual arts combined with my love for music, dance, and my immense appreciation of different cultures.
